Grant-Ready Digital provides website development, grant writing, and related digital services specifically tailored for charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), and other mission-driven organisations.
2. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- “Client” refers to any individual or organisation that engages our services.
- “Services” refers to website development, grant writing, consultation, and any other services we provide.
- “Content” refers to all materials, text, images, data, and information provided by the Client or created by us.
- “Deliverables” refers to the specific outputs we agree to provide to the Client.
3. Services Agreement
All services provided by Grant-Ready Digital are subject to:
- A formal proposal outlining scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs
- Client acceptance of the proposal
- Payment terms as specified in the proposal
Important: We specialise in serving charitable organisations and CICs. While we strive for successful outcomes, we cannot guarantee specific funding results as grant approval decisions rest solely with funding bodies.
4. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the successful delivery of our services, Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information about their organisation and needs
- Supply all necessary materials and content in a timely manner
- Designate a primary contact person for communications
- Provide feedback within agreed timeframes
- Make timely payments as outlined in the proposal
5. Payment Terms
Our standard payment terms are:
- 50% deposit upon agreement of services
- 50% upon completion of services
- For larger projects, we may implement milestone payments
- All invoices are payable within 14 days of issue
We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue payments. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated.
6. Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights are transferred as follows:
- Upon full payment, Clients receive full ownership of the final deliverables
- We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio
- Pre-existing intellectual property from both parties remains owned by the original party
- We may use templates, frameworks, and tools we’ve developed for multiple clients
7. Confidentiality
We respect the sensitive nature of your information:
- We will not disclose confidential information to third parties without consent
- We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data
- Certain information may need to be shared with grant bodies as part of applications
- We may be required to disclose information if legally compelled
8. Limitations of Liability
Our liability is limited as follows:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for our services
- We are not responsible for decisions made by grant-awarding bodies
- We are not liable for delays caused by Client-side issues or third parties
Note: While we bring expertise in creating compelling grant applications, funding decisions are made by independent grantors based on their specific criteria and available funds.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate services with written notice:
- Clients may terminate with 14 days written notice
- We may terminate for non-payment or material breach of terms
- Upon termination, Clients pay for all work completed to date
- Termination does not affect any rights or responsibilities that accrued prior
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time:
- Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date
- Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance
- For existing clients, the terms in effect at the time of agreement remain valid for that engagement
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
